Clarification on passing of ordinary and special resolutions by companies under Companies Act, 2013 and rules made thereunder on account of threat posed by COVID-19

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs have allowed companies to conduct Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM) through video conferencing on or before 30^th June, 2020 or till further orders, whichever earlier during the COVID-19 but subject to fulfilment of certain conditions as mentioned in General Circular No.14/2020 dated 08^th April, 2020 and General Circular No.17/2020 dated 13^th April, 2020.
